This is an interesting page to write on considering my views concerning privacy and the Internet. On one hand, I have a website where I talk about my daily happenings. So clearly I’m not too concerned with my life being on the Internets
But at the same time, I won’t divulge too much about myself. I suppose all you need to know is that I come from Northern Ontario (Kapuskasing), moved to the city of Ottawa to get an education (like most others from Kapuskasing do…I swear this city consists of 5% of Kapuskasingites), got a job and now live in the suburbs.
I love all things which are music – albums, live recordings (bootlegs), playing guitar, attempting to write music, the culture behind rock n’ roll…
I love all things tech – computers, the Internet, gadgets. You put something tech in front of me and my curiosity is piqued.
I love books – for years it was mainly science fiction/fantasy (predominantly Star Wars), but in my later years (right now I suppose), I like to reading different types of books…biographies, short stories, good spy novels (like James Bond!) while still relying on some old school sci-fi to amuse me.
I love comic books – a hobby from a decade ago has returned into my life in 2007 as I have found that you can download old comic books (as well as new ones!). I have recently started my collection again and will see how that goes.
I love television shows but not television – I love downloading tv shows and watching them whenever I want. I hate the concept of the television where you have a time where you have to sit in front of it to watch your favourite TV show. I hated the fact that I would have to drop life itself to watch pseudo-life on TV. I tend to stick to the serialized form of TV shows; Lost, Alias, Californication…although I am up for anything that people want to recommend to me.
I love humour – I would like to consider myself to be a good natured gentleman who loves a good laugh. Unfortunately, sometimes at the expense of my loved ones around me.
I love films – I’m up for watching anything out there. Like my books, I like science fiction/fantasy.
